Copic colour challenge

I finally get the enter the Copic Colour Challenge again! :)

their colours this time are:

BV00 - tick - (just realised I used this on a different pixie... will show her tomorrow)
G00 - tick
RV02 - don't have that one...
so I used RV04 minimally (along with the colourless blender) + used a pink whisper pen on top.
I also used a couple of skin tone colours + yellows for the hair. Here is my card:

no MOJO

I've kind of lost my Mojo!

But I have been colouring in... although I must admit I'm not exceptionally happy with them.

Whoo! I am finally getting my Magnolia down Under card in early'ish in the challenge...

This challenge is:

I missed out on the last challenge... did not get my card onto the computer in time... but I thought I'd show it to you anyway... this was made with the "Moving to the Country" theme in mind...

I used a photo taken in Orange for the bacground (the pic of the card is a bit dark - sorry)

I used my new Hippy Girl Jewels stamp from Bizzy Becs.
I used some bling on her hairpiece and the buttons on her pants... oh and some sparkly glitter paper!

I used some Basic Grey paper, lace ribbon from Spotlight, blooms and card from my stash...

Magnolia Down Under - Under the Sea

Well It seems I am too late for the Magnolia down Under Challenge... as it s supposed to be in by midday Sat - It's now 1.10pm.. oops!!

The challenge was " under the sea"!

Well - I thought I would show you my card anyway.... I did not have any appropriate "sea" Magnolia stamps.. So I thought I would turn this pretty Tilda into a mermaid!



I've been feeling very UNMOTIVATED.... work has been busy and I just don't really feel like crafting (I think my Mojo ran off somewhere anyway)! But I received my Bizzy Becs stamps
this week and I love them!!! so....

Stamping out Alzheimers

Anything that can be done here is worthwhile... Alzheimers is such a horrible disease... I watched it eat away at both my grandfathers (so sad!!) I wish that no one had to go through such a horrid ordeal ... praying they find a cure soon!

I created this cupcake for a challenge on the Stampin out Alzheimers site!

I coloured this image that my mate Tina sent me some time ago.. and I wanted to keep it rather focal so I did not add in any extra embellishments etc! I think it works! I love the fairy anyway :)

some sneaky peeks

Well.. Just checking in... I'm still here... just have not been able to do any crafting and have not been blogging either... op went rather well on Mon - thanks for your thoughts and prayers... however I got rather ill on Tues and went back to hospital... Home again Wed arvo and then just taking time to recover.. slower than I would like!

Have no energy... a bit sore and just feel :P most of the time. Just need to be patient I guess...

I am hoping to get around to comment on all your blogs soon! IN the next few days...

Magnolia Down Under :: Sepia

The challenge this week on Magnolia Down Under is "SEPIA"

Here is my card for my second week as one of their guest design team:



I used watercolours to do a little wash over the Edwin image and then some extra brown watercolour to add more colour in .. I tried to make it look like an older style Sepia photograph (hence the photocorners).

Magnolia down Under :: Easter

This week the challenge at Magnolia Down Under is Easter.

Unfortunately I do not have any Easter range stamps yet... lol... So I used this stamped image I got from Nic (thanks babe) and I used my Creative Memories custome cutting set that has a large heart with and egg shape in the middle... cool huh (never used that side of it before).



Well... am in Orange for the weekend (for my Dad's 60th) .. not a lot of time to visit all my bloggy friends .. that might have to wait till Tuesday! However do pop back tomorrow when I will post my first Guest DT card for Magnolia Down Under!!

Pretty Pressings

Ooooooh ..... Claudia has some rather Awesome candy on her blog just now... 6 different sets of Magnolia stamps! Open till 2 April!

Magnolia down Under :: Bling it on!

The challenge this week at Magnolia Downunder is:

BLING IT ON!

Now I used quite a bit of bling....
1. rhinestone on the heart at the top of the Eiffel Tower..
2. lots of KindyGlitz...and
3. some silver brad in the middle of the flowers! :) I love sparkles and bling. lol!
4. Oh and Don't forget the DCWV Glitter stack :)

I used 2 Magnolia stamps... the Eiffel Tower + Tilda in Paris which is actually owned by my sister Nic (who funnily enough is in Paris now!)




I had a few troubles getting a good photo due to the sparkles!! But you get the idea...
