But there's more... I am going to choose a couple more people to be on the Team...I will choose them from the FIRST challenge.... so keep checking back for the big opening of "Crafty Muse" and the first challenge!!

*check out the Awesome card Emma already made using Angelique!*

*the last image I uploaded of Angelique was a bit small... so here is a large one.... to change the size - either open in photoshop and alter the size in there or cut and paste her into a word document and then change the size of the image there... email me for more info*

Here's my card... I have used Little Dot from the Love and Marriage downloads!! I have LOTS of DOTS/ SPOTS on this card!!

Do and check out the WONDERFUL work that the Design Team have created!! :)

Kelly's celebrating

My SBS15 sister Kelly has gone over 10,000 hits and is celebrating with blog candy!

She wants to know what your fav. meal to cook is... Here is a recipe I thought I would share:

Chicken and Basil Risotto
cooking time: 30-45mins, serves 4

Ingredients:

2 cups Arborio Rice
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 large onion, diced

1 garlic clove, chopped finely
1 fresh red chilli, chopped finely
handful basil leaves
2 chicken breasts
1cm lemon grass, finely chopped

400ml can coconut cream
1-2 cups chicken stock

##Using electric frypan or a large deep saucepan##

1.Heat oil in pan - put onions, garlic and chilli in pan. (Med-High heat)

2. when onion is starting to brown add the chicken to the pan & seal chicken.

3. tip in the rice - stir, wait until the rice starts to become see through (it will still be opaque in the middle - this means it is sufficiently coated with oil)

4. Add a ladleful of chicken stock and coconut cream, the lemon grass and the basil leaves. Simmer for 1min then turn pan down to a moderate heat

5. Add alternate ladles of the chicken stock and coconut cream until all used up and
absorbed <<>> as the rice is cooking the grains soften and merge.

6. When Risotto looks creamy, grate in some fresh parmesan cheese or a small amount of butter. Leave to rest for 5mins

7. Serve up risotto (you can garnish it with some basil leaves if you wish)

Stamp with Sarah Kay

I am finally able to enter the Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge! Thanks to Chris! :)

This week the challenge was a sketch challenge... I love this sketch and think I might use it again! :) I love the work of the designers on the Sarah Kay Weekly challenge site!! :)

Here's my take:

I'm loving my copic markers - used them to colour the image and the scallop on the back edge

Tilda and Friends :: It's a Wrap

Well ... I am loving ATCs at the moment! So I *had* to enter the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge this week. This was the challenge:

"It's a Wrap! - A nice easy theme for everyone this week! We would like you to wrap up your ATC with ribbon, string, paper, wire, or anything else that comes to mind. The design is up to you, just remember to use a cute faced image such as Magnolia, Hanglar, Alota or Cuddly Buddly. "

Here's my ATC... I wrapped string around the white card.

There are some brilliant ATCs from the Design Team! You can see them here.

Dottie's World :: Love is...

Juliet set this weeks challenge on Dottie's World. I have copied her words below:

'Love is......' and I would like to see a message or journalling on the FRONT of your card.
As usual, you must include one of the Dottie downloads too"

Here is my card:

As usual the DT have made some fantastic work... check them out!
