Club Anya and Friends - Kim's Shape up for the new Year challenge

I'm still having fun with the Club Anya and Friends New Year challenges.... I am halfway there!!
But instead of keeping things simple... seems I'm in the mood for a little more intricate today.
I thought I'd share with you my favourite project so far.

Kim Nath set this Shape up for the New Year Challenge.
I decided I wanted to use Princess Ava and that therefore I should make a castle shaped card.... so here it is:

The next photo shows the shape/ card from a different angle. I cut out the bottom half first and then the top part is a single layer attached to the inside of the front piece. I had to dig out the craft knife to cut out all the windows.

Here is a picture of the card lying flat on the table.

Thanks for looking! I'm off to get a few more cards done and uploaded to the Galleria.
And I'd like to get a bit of blog hopping done too!

thanks for stopping by!

Today's Recipe:
Cardstock, Copics, blooms, rhinestone brads, Fairytale DCWV paper, white gel pen...

  1. Congrats to Cheryl for winning the candy. :( I didn't win. Boo hoo hahahaha.

OMG I was so going to try and do the same shape. If they have individual prizes for the challenges you would so win this one. Great job.
