Just Add Ink - CUPCAKES

Good afternoon, I'm back after an extended break again :) I've been busy making up a stash of cards for the year ... and using up all my accumulated craft supplies which TBH, I was a bit surprised by the amount spread through out our house! I thought I might join in a crafty blog challenge to get the inspiration flowing .. and I decided to join this weeks Just Add Ink challenge -  with this delightfully sweet inspiration picture how could I resist??

I tried to use similar colours ... I'm really loving pastels at the moment :)

and of course I had to pull out one of my fav stamps.. Miss Anya cupcakes from The Greeting Farm!!

Miss Anya and the big Some Odd Girl cupcake have been coloured with the following Copic markers:

A birthday card for my Guy

It was Guy's birthday earlier this week .. and this was the card I made for him.. I used a stamp from The Greeting Farm and coloured it to look a bit like Guy :)

All the papers are from my stash... slowly getting through these!!

The stamp "You're Simply Amazing" is a Kaisercraft one.. available in a great set HERE

I found an old Creative Memories sticker (the computer) and used it on the card! 

The HAPPY BIRTHDAY I wrote with the chisel tip of my BV18 Copic marker and added a 2nd line with a multiliner! I also outlined the rectangle borders using a 0.3 multiliner - my favourite size!

I made a FAKE Cheesecake.. FAKE because it was dairy free and so absolutely no cheese .. the main ingredient is cashew nuts .. it actually worked well although was a bit of a fail on the night as there was no room in the freezer at my in-laws for it and so it kinda melted into a soggy mess... since it re-froze it actually tastes quite yummy!

Lots of layers

Good afternoon,

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge.. which is "Anything Goes" with a twist of "lots of layers" I had fun layering up LOTS of different bits of paper to create the card layout.. then coloured up this image "Best Friends" from The Greeting Farm.. (YES I STILL LOVE them hehe )who is also "wearing lots of layers" - unlike me in this heat,  tee hee

Hope your Monday/ week has started off well.. not sure where mine went... Well come to think of it I do...  down a rabbit hole of videos and iphones and imovie and youtube. I've started off a new youtube channel for my business Mad for Markers and I coloured this stamp in the first video :D

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge .... this is one of my all time favourite stamps from the Greeting Farm - Miss Anya Treats ... the one word sentiment "Hello" is from a Kaisercraft stamp set :)

Southern Girl's pattern trio

I have missed blogging and hope to get back into it a bit more this year, I've looked up some challenges to get me started  ... There are tons out there and great to help get inspired, so I have a few cards lined up to share over the next couple of days :D It's awfully hot here still downunder and so making cards is a great thing to do sitting under the airconditioning!

Today I am entering the Southern Girls Challenge which is to have three or more patterned papers on the project... I have used three :D I've been trying to use up all the bits and pieces of paper I have here :D

Monday's Creepie, Cheeky, Geeky Sadie wearing Oliver's hat

Good evening,

Well I have not selected photos yet to share from the holiday... still working on that one :) I have however been inspired today to create a card FOR FUN! I've always loved a good old TGF body swap and so I had to play along in their current challenge....

To create your alter ego... well... Here's what I've done..... I've stamped up all these stamps....

yes.. I went a little crazy today using FIVE images to create my one alter ego.. and to make my life even harder I stamped them in a pale pink ink which does make colouring a little harder but it also means that you don't see the "joins" so much. Anyway ... Here is my creation ...

We have.... a hat from OA Lovey Dovey - Thanks Oliver! This cutie's Head and top are Creeper Sadie, with the glasses and bottom of face + pigtails from Cheeky Geeky, Skirt and legs are Creeper Monday and the Coffee was stolen from Latte Anya ;)


I have used the Merci Fairytale stack as well as a couple of scraps. I've coloured the image with Copic markers and the "love this Moment" sentiment is from Giveagirla... I've grunged it up a little with TGF splotchy stamps and a nonamed swirly one and finished by flicking Opaque white on it... Not sure if I like the "mess" lol! But I must say I do love this Monday's Creepie, Cheeky, Geeky Sadie wearing Oliver's hat.

Another Miss Anya Scarves

Oh yes... the idea of snow is still surprisingly appealing to me right now! lol! The weather here is certainly crazy... it's humid, hot.... sunny one day ... raining heavily the next! Thinking of all the people up North inundated with water again!! Stay safe people up there!!!

TGF :: Double Take Tuesday

Good morning!! I hope you have all had a great week!! It's FRIDAY here!! YAY!!! I do like Fridays as it means I get my gorgeous Guy home for 2 days in a row :) Besides seeing him during the day it also makes life easier with MIL when there are 2 of us to share the load :D AND even better this weekend is a LONG one.... as it's AUSTRALIA Day tomorrow.... Fellow Aussies... Do you do anything to celebrate?? or just enjoy the day off??

I have coloured up Amelia from the OA Lovey Dovey set ...  she's too cute!! I've used some of my fav. paper.. which sadly is running out and a rub-on I got from Jane at her pre-opening sale last weekend :)

I don't have the Copics list to share today as I coloured this one up a little bit ago and um didn't record the colours ... oopsie!! pretty simple though... skins then some greys and Pinks.. RV20s I think these are and the Molotow pen for the easy accent :D

Farm Fresh Friday :: Punch It!

Good mornin,

I hope you are all having a great week so far!! :D I'm really on a roll with cardmaking at the moment... enjoying it.. I think being able to do it for FUN again is really helping tee hee!!

It's about time I  entered a Farm Fresh Friday Challenge AGAIN with The Greeting Farm so here I am... This week the challenge is to Punch it... they would like us to use punches or dies...

Here's my card... I've used Miss Anya Scarves which I coloured last year to attempt a "distress look" using Copics.. I think it sort of works .. what do you think?? I'm not sure I can pull off the Distressed look on a whole card but this is an attempt tee hee!

TGF meets The Baby Sitters Club

Good morning! Yesterday was the customer chit chat at The Greeting Farm... well actually it was on Splitcoast Stampers.. but in the forum for TGF ;) It was fun to chatter with people, thou rather confusing at times! LOL!

So there were also some challenges - creating cards based on your favourite book, favourtie book turned movie and favourite children's book. After discussions in the "chat" on The Babysitters Club... which I admit was a favourite series of mine and I thought I had them all until I checked on wiki and realised that they kept going way after my reading time.. I must have only had about 40 or so?!?! will have to see if they are still at Mum and Dad's lol!

So I had a lot of fun finding all my Miss Anyas and mixing and matching them until I created the 5 position holders main girls in the club (don't worry there is a My Guy Ian reserved for Logan hehe)

So... Do you remember the books? Do you remember the girls?? My favourite was Mary Anne (but Claudia was a very close second) hahahah! Well if you remember and can name my Miss Anya lookalikes correctly I might just have to find you a little prize! :D

Took me a long time to decide on which bodies, heads to use and then a little extra alterations.. cutting and adding hair... coloured with Copics and I was done! :D I made a step card to show them off properly :D First Step card I've made... but I think I will be making MORE of them.. so simple yet so effective! :D

a Splendid blog hop

I have a couple of projects to share with you today using some wonderful TGF stamps!! :D First up is the advent calendar I made... I had this ornament display stand and I "altered" it to be an advent calendar ... I used Angel Anya to sit at the top :)

You can't read it properly but I have used the following verse on my advent calendar....

My second holiday project is a candle.. I have coloured up this beautiful Holiday Anya on tissue and then set them to the candle... I also coloured some seambinding red to match...



I am also sharing another TGF project .. this is a Birthday card that I made for my Mum's birthday yesterday... I used the Tea-riffic clear stamps set to create this card :)

I was thrilled to win The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Hats off challenge last month and I now have my prize.. Yipee!!! THANKS TGF!!! These GORGEOUS Miss Anya with hats stamps.... They are certainly my new favourite stamps right now! LOL! I'll be back later with my absolute favourite... but here are all three of them .. stamped in rich cocoa ink on a brownish cardstock.. I like the way the copics work on this but with a muted tone!!

Everytime I look at this image I think of the Rolf Harris song about the two little boys and their wooden horses. So it's now going through my head again! LOL

I am now stocking some of their embellishments in my store :D The butterflies are chipboard from my LSS - All about Scrapbooks - I coloured them with Copics and then Spica (Thanks Rach for that tip!)

Oh Alice ... CHAPTER 34 :: The Mad Tea Party

Yippee... half the world is going into autumn now which is perfect for tea, for us here down under it's SPRING... still good for tea if you ask me!! :D

Here is mine... when I googled tea bag folding I found a great video tutorial on making a tea bag folded butterfly so that is what I'd done! I used the gorgeous little "Country Anya" digi from The Greeting Farm for my card...
