The Girl who was on Fire

Good afternoon! I drew this image a while ago... after having a chat with Alyce ... we were thinking it would be fun to try and colour a dress to look like Katniss in her dress that was on fire from the Hunger games!! Had a bit of trouble finding an image we thought would be good for it and so I thought I'd just try and draw my own... well it seems that was the easy part... not as easy colouring it making it look like it was on fire... anyway here's an attempt! I'm Still waiting for Alyce to do her one (hint, hint :) are you reading this???? lol)

Mad for Markers blog hop

Good morning Copic Lovers, Today we are having our first ever blog hop.

Firstly we would like to say a HUGE THANKS to the departing Design team ladies…
Sue, Louise and Tracy have been wonderful members of our team and it’s with sadness that we say farewell! Please pop by their blogs and give them some love and lots of Thanks for all the gorgeous inspiration they’ve shared with us all using Copic markers! It was wonderful having Sue (my buddy from my first DT spot) on the team and I am looking forward to staying in touch .. Lou and Tracy helped me to get selling to NZ (THANKS) and I loved getting to know you both - yep.. I'll be stalking you girls too!!

We would also like to give a very warm welcome to the new team and are so very excited to have them on board…. You are going to love seeing their work which of course you will see today as you are hopping…. you can also take a little detour to read more about the new team HERE!

Another fun bit of news is that we now have a separate challenge blog – as of today (you will finish the hop there!) OK.. a bit more rambling about my card... I have used a Miss Anya Lounge image from The Greeting Farm -- I bought mine from Marcia at The Stamp Spot. The gorgeous tree + grass are embellishments from Flourish with a Bling (Thanks to the very lovely Lucy for that!) I am now stocking some of their embellishments in my store :D The butterflies are chipboard from my LSS - All about Scrapbooks - I coloured them with Copics and then Spica (Thanks Rach for that tip!)
And the colours I used are: Skin: E000, E00, E11, R11, Hair: E30, 31, 33, 35, 15, 13, Jacket: R22, 24, 27, 29, Skirt/ boots: V12, 15, 17 socks: B000, C1, 0

Just for fun and 'cos Bonnie is soo cute

Just wanted to share a card I made using Bonnie ... who is the most adorable stamp ever!!
Bonnie is available in a Digital or a Clear stamp from Spesch stamps and you can find her HERE


As you can see I have coloured her dress WHITE.. well.. I have added some shading to create the illusion of a white dress :D and THAT is what we are asking people to do at Mad for Markers in our challenge this month!

New Challenge at Mad for Markers

Good morning! It's time for a new challenge over at Mad for Markers blog ... We would like to see you colour on something other than paper this time.

I thought I would show you some inspiration... whilst on Holidays in Adelaide I went shopping with my friend Ally and we found this cool shop with handpainted shoes... I had just got back from Certification and was all pumped up and inspired to colour ANYTHING... and so, we bought these shoes... in black and white...


and I coloured them .... in Blue Greens and Blues for Ally...


and in Violets and Red Violets for me....


I love my shoes!! :D Can't wait to see what you come up with for this... there are endless possibilities!! Link up your creations over at the Mad for Markers blog!!

Mad for Markers

Our new challenge has gone live today and the theme of the challenge is to create something using shades of one colour. We have the wonderful Debbie P as our guest designer so pop on over the the blog and see her gorgeous creation for this challenge. We have also introduced Annette today who will be joining the Design Team! :D

Also more GREAT NEWS.... I am now going to be shipping stock to New Zealand.. so if you or people you know live in NZ and want Copics then you can now get them through Mad for Markers :) YAY

I made this card for a very lovely friend of ours :D and gave it to her last night ... she is another friend who likes purple (yup I choose friends who like purple. lol .. jk)

This ATC was made for the current colour challenge over at Mad for Markers!!
I was very happy to receive a Copic order today including my R00 refill! YAY!!!

NEW blog is active + DT call....

Good Morning!! I'm pleased to let you know that the Mad for Markers blog is now active! If you would to pop on over and check it out (click on the piccy above) you can meet 2 of my lovely DT and read about the DT call we are having!
