Mermaids!!!

Good afternoon!! I've been having a bit of fun with Mermaids..  tee hee!! When I was looking at new apps to download on the ipad I saw this Mermaid game and downloaded it just for lols... and then my OCDness kicked in and I wanted to get all the different mermaids! Haha... It's a bit of a time waster... but sometimes they are good.. something to zone out to that does not need any brain!

Anyway I guess it inspired me to go off and draw some Mermaids.. I did a couple on A5 paper and then I decided to go with a little series of ATCs .. so I sketched them up....

Inked them...

and coloured them with my COPICS a Molotow White pen and a number of Multiliners!!

There were 2 more ... but as I reached for a new marker I knocked over a glass of water ... Disaster... as sitting there were not only my ATCs .. coloured and ones waiting to get coloured BUT also my Imac, Ipad, Iphone and case of Copic markers. :( :(

Teen inspired ATC

Here is my ATC that I made for the Tilda and Friends challenge - which is to create a teen inspired ATC. It's been a little while since I made an ATC and I forgot how fun they are ... watch this space as I've caught the ATC bug again!

I used my "Shine Anya" stamp for this ATC - coloured her with my copics and used Creative memories paper + stickers! I also used my new "glossy accents" that I purchased from Marcia
at the Stamp Spot! LOVE that effect and think you'll be seeing a bit of that in future here too!! :)

Oh, BTW, There are NEW Greeting farm stamps available now at the Stamp spot... and some scrummy looking Primas... check them out!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda ATCs and PIF candy

I did originally make these ATCs for the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge but I was too slow in uploading and mailing them... so I am offering them to my readers.... If you would like one (to have or to swap) let me know and I'll pop it in the mail! :)

I am also doing a PIF candy (as I received a package a little while ago) ... I have a few crafty goodies to post to the FIRST THREE PEOPLE to comment on this post! :)

I will post internationally by the way :)

Tilda and Friends :: It's a Wrap

Well ... I am loving ATCs at the moment! So I *had* to enter the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge this week. This was the challenge:

"It's a Wrap! - A nice easy theme for everyone this week! We would like you to wrap up your ATC with ribbon, string, paper, wire, or anything else that comes to mind. The design is up to you, just remember to use a cute faced image such as Magnolia, Hanglar, Alota or Cuddly Buddly. "

Here's my ATC... I wrapped string around the white card.

There are some brilliant ATCs from the Design Team! You can see them here.

ATC :: Friendship Swop

I made this ATC for a friendship swop organised by Emma (for our SBS#15 group).
thanks Emma - this was my first ever ATC and I think I'll be making more (well - I've already made a few more as you can see further down the page).

I used a coloured Sarah Kay image... I do feel like I cheated a bit by not colouring something in myself... but I liked the image so much! :) I added some bling and doodling! I did add a bit more black around the letters before posting - but did not get another photo ... This ATC is currently winging it's way to my "sister and friend" Lisa in the States.

Tilda and Friends Seasons ATC Challenge

Well I made my first ATC the other day for our SBS#15 friendship swap. after making one I thought I could try a few more... so I decided to make some ATCs for the Tilda and Friends challenge which for the month of August was Seasons...

There are some WONDERFUL ATCs from the Design Team - go check them out!!

so here we have it... Four Seasons in one day....

I made my background by drawing a tree & flowers onto the card, making it slightly different for each one to portray the different seasons. I then coloured my different Tildas and stuck them on along with some ribbon and made little tags to show the "season".

Here they are all in a row...

I've been trying out a new colouring technique... my derwent studio pencils and then some blender medium... it's a work in progress.. I hope to get better :)

Thanks for looking,

Sammi
