Dottie's world :: Aperture, Ribbon and Doodles

Well, I have spent the better part of today working on a card for this weeks challenge!
Nicola set a grand challenge this week:

The challenge is
Aperture....Ribbon & Doodles....
Of course it involves using a download from Charmed Cards, then it can be one or more Apertures, one or more ribbons and hand drawn Doodles.

I absolutely LOVE the Design team's cards - get on over and check them out!!

Here's mine:

I really struggled with the card this week!! I have a lot of ruined cardstock and paper.... This was about my third attempt... and even then it's changed a bit... I started off with a pink baby girl card, as you can see - it's now BLUE!!

I just did not like any of them...

I used some plastic from the bags I put my cards in ... and put it behind the aperture to look like glass... Still not happy with it ....

I came back online to read Nicola's post again... I had totally forgotten about the ribbon ...

and so I went back to my desk, ripped off the bloom I had on the front and cut up some ribbon, found the baby eyelets and added some MORE doodling!!

and here you have it - the finished card... Now I'm going to look for my Mojo! Sorry for the looong post!
