A sweet as sugar 30th card for a busy weekend

Well I'm home again after a looong weekend in Adelaide!! :D
I went for my friend's 30th and here is the card that I made for her... it was from a few of us... when I lived in residential college 12 years ago (oh -feeling old) there were three other girls that I became great friends with. They are still counted as my closest friends now... and as we all live in separate states it's not often that we get together so it's special when we do.... Anyway .. I wanted to have 4 girls on the card... so I used some Miss Anya's that were stamped up for me by Em and Debbie! Thanks girls :D

I am entering this card into the Anyone for Anya challenge... which is Sweet as Sugar - they want cards to be pretty and girly... I think this is pretty and girly - Don't you???

Here's a pic of the four of us at the party... as you can tell I had a haircut over the weekend too!

Well I was up at 4.30am to go catch the plane home so I'm feeling pretty dopey and waffling more than normal I think - have to keep going back and deleting bits... haha!! Was very thankful to C who woke up and drove me to the airport this morning and then also for Guy who picked me up - which meant he was late for work... but I was glad to see him.

anyway, my Spring kit from Magnolia has arrived! YAY! so I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of that on here soon and I'll be back later with an Artful INKables card AND tomorrow is the Artful INKables blog hop so make sure you join in!!

am still catching up on emails and blog reading/ visiting! Will talk soon! Thanks for stopping by,

ATC :: Friendship Swop

I made this ATC for a friendship swop organised by Emma (for our SBS#15 group).
thanks Emma - this was my first ever ATC and I think I'll be making more (well - I've already made a few more as you can see further down the page).

I used a coloured Sarah Kay image... I do feel like I cheated a bit by not colouring something in myself... but I liked the image so much! :) I added some bling and doodling! I did add a bit more black around the letters before posting - but did not get another photo ... This ATC is currently winging it's way to my "sister and friend" Lisa in the States.
