Monday Mania with Mag

*****Please scroll down for Oh, Alice! Challenge post *****

I did upload this card to the Greeting Farm galleria a few days ago but thought that I would show it here as well! I made this for Monday Mania with Mag over at Club Anya and Friends!
Mag has a gorgeous blog and always creates the most wonderful creations... pop on over and have a look. So, anyway... The CHALLENGE was to Create a card/project using ONLY ALTERED {CA&F} STAMPS and be INSPIRED by the photo they showed here:

Well I was so inspired by the photo that I had to sit down and draw some of the elements from the picture... and I LOVED the pinks, browns and white.. so that is what I used.

I have used the head of a Miss Anya and then attached the body of Me Time Anya.. making Little Miss Me Time Anya :D She could have just had her hair done... OR she's having a full on pampering day... Image is coloured with Copics (and I'll add the colours used tomorrow - along with the others I've left of previous posts!)

Am ALMOST done now with adding product to the store ... so should be up soon! Just have to talk again with the wonderful lady who's designed everything for me + take a few piccies for the site AND add a bit of other info... IT's all very exciting - but taking up ALL my time right now... off I go!

Oh, Alice .... CHAPTER 5: WHOOOOOOOO RRRRRRRRRRR YOUUUUUUUU?

"Who are YOU?" said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

It's the 5th challenge over at the Oh, Alice! blog and we are celebrating SPRING.
Our sponsor
this week is our very own Jen Shults! Jen's stamp company, Wild Flower Kids, so us lucky DT peeps are showcasing one of her new lines "All-A-Flutter"!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to create a card using a CATERPILLAR or BUTTERFLY on your projects this week!
Check out the blog for all the nitty gritty!

These images are so delightful ... I could not decide which one to use and coloured up a couple but in the end I just had to go with Crisanta! The papers I used are Basic Grey Indian Summer... not exactly "Spring" colours but I thought they went well with the image!! Also, I LOVE that sentiment which is part of the All-A-Flutter download. I HAD to add another metal butterfly I picked up at the craft expo a few weeks ago as well as some pearl brads.

Check out the rest of the wonderful twisted teams butterfly creations

Anya Ink :: sketch challenge

The challenge at Anya Ink this week is a lovely little sketch and this is the card that I am submitting for it! I just love this stamp of Anya in the bath (from the Greeting Farm) - that would be lovely - a nice bubble bath - don't you think!?

I have stamped me time Anya on to Xpress It's new Copic blending card * and I am so impressed with this card... it stamps up beautifully and is such a pleasure to colour on... so smooth and lovely! I've been experimenting with a few different blending techniques recently so you will no doubt see them popping up! I did a little bit of feathering for her headband!

I usually colour skin in with the R00, 11, 20 combination... but now that I have the E000 I went for a new combo... E000, 00 and 02 .. bit paler and less pink'ish.

Thanks for stopping by.

The Copics I used were:
face/skin - E000, E00, E02 (R20 - mouth)
hairband - RV95, RV42
hair - E37,35, 33, 31
bathtub - B97, 95, 93
bubbles - BV31

and shock horror - no white gel pen on the image... just around the circle :D

* I will be selling this in my webstore! :D

a few cards from the week just gone

Firstly I would like to introduce you to Charli... She is another of the gorgeous images coming out at Spesch digital stamps. She is really fun to colour! The lovely huge flower was sent to me by my blogging friend Em - THANKS hun!! I LOVE these big flowers...I did cut off a few of the petals though.... I used a Copic multiliner for the extra doodling!

the second card is made using Audrey ... the lovely Marie from The Greeting Farm gave her to us to celebrate her birthday! How sweet is she! Audrey is supposed to be a tomboy but I still managed to give her some pink and purple to wear. This was my entry for last weeks Sketch Saturday at Club Anya and Friends.

and last but not least is the card I made for last weeks Farm Fresh Friday on the Greeting Farm blog the challenge was "down the rabbit hole" so I used the Alice in Wonderland which Marie re-released as Digis... I was so happy to be able to snap them up :D The sentiment is from Sassy Studio Designs! :D

I'm sorry but I did not record the Copic colours I used for these ones... but all new cards will have them.

NEW blog is active + DT call....

Good Morning!! I'm pleased to let you know that the Mad for Markers blog is now active! If you would to pop on over and check it out (click on the piccy above) you can meet 2 of my lovely DT and read about the DT call we are having!

OH, ALICE .... CHAPTER 4: Picturing Wonderland

"Thus grew the tale of Wonderland:Thus slowly, one by one, Its quaint events were hammered out - And now the tale is done, And home we steer, a merry crew,
Beneath the setting sun.

Alice! a childish story take, And with gentle hand lay it were Childhood's dreams are twined. In Memory's mystic band, Like pilgrim's wither'd wreath of flowers
Pluck'd in a far-off land..."

We have another sketch Challenge today, brought to us by the very lovely Pam!

We'd LOVE for you to plunge Down the Rabbit hole with us again this week! All you have to do is upload your creation and link it using Mr. Linky on the Oh, Alice blog
This is my creation.....

I have used the White Queen another of the gorgeous new images from Spesch Stamps...she will be available for purchase TOMORROW!!! pop on over to Spesch Stamps to see more of the lovely images - including LOTS of Alice in Wonderland images :D

I have printed her on Neenah paper and coloured her in with Copic markers --> I think she is just so sweet! The frame is from Scrapmatts... which I picked up at the Craft Expo on thursday ... they have lots of wonderful chipboard bits and pieces.

thanks for stopping by and go and check out all the WONDERFUL creations the Oh, Alice DT have made!!

COPIC STORAGE

Some people have been asking some questions about storing markers and I did say that I would do a post .... so here goes...I have linked up some pictures of cases and stand available from Copic, The links will take you to COPIC AUSTRLIA which has lots of great info on Copics.

if you are interested in getting any of these or would like a quote let me know!

Other options for
storing copics could include .... a CD tower/ stand.... or pencil tins.

Copics are able to be stored either horizontally or vertically and your markers should still be fine.

** tomorrow I will be launching the Mad for Markers blog and will also be having a DT call for Aussie Copic lovers/ colourers**
