a few changes to come

Good morning!! Here is a card I've made with one of my current fav Some Odd Girl Stamps... this is Thank You Mae .. isn't she delightful?? I  coloured her up whilst in Adelaide and popped her on a card towards the start of this week - using some of the papers I  have kept out (most of my papers are packed away in boxes).

I am hoping to be more regular with my blogging again... we'll see... I'm also thinking of making a few changes to this blog... design and perhaps also some extra content (posts not always crafty ... shock, horror - lol - Oh, well .... we'll see!

It's busy times here at the moment... trying to deal with all the housing changes to come... we settle on the 8th of June for the house we are purchasing... not that far away now... exciting but scary! I am really looking forward to having more space - and particularly a separate Mad for MArkers/ crafting room! Yipee!!

Meanwhile we are trying to sell our apartment!! Hopefully this will happen SOON! It means that we have to keep the place decluttered and CLEAN... mmm yes I  best go do that again Now as we are having people through tomorrow - outside the normal Sat inspection time! Bye for now!!!

Hunger Games characters

I'm back!!! After getting home from holidays and getting sick then our internet (router) died and NOW ... Finally I am back online... albeit still  a bit sick .. anyway I'm HERE :)

Guy suggested and I thought it would be fun to draw some of the characters from the Hunger Games ... so today at Mad for Markers we have the first two I've done... they are based on Katniss and Primrose!

I love how the Digi DT have used them - and coloured them so differently - check them out on the M4M blog HERE!!

Here are the cards I've created with these girls... seems the pics are not that brilliant sorry!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like the images... still deciding whether to do more or not!!

FFF :: a sketch by Larisa

Hello everyone!!Have you been seeing the previews at The Greeting Farm blog... Aren't they just adorable! I can't wait to get my hands on Cheeky Geeky and that beautiful Princess - hope they arrive to my post box SOON!!!

Ok... so onto this week's Farm Fresh Friday.. there is an AWESOME Sketch to follow .. designed by Larisa and I had a bit of fun with it.. twisting it on the side and using the houses (their roofs) as the triangle part.. a bit of artistic license there!

I've coloured up this Sitting Cute Anya on brown cardboard.. kinda Kraft-like I guess... - Love the soft feel that it gives.. it is very different to colouring on white card!!

Hop on over to The Greeting Farm blog to see all the Farmers takes on the sketch AND to see the stunning new images that are coming out on the 1 May!!

This is my last FFF as an April Guest... it's been fun playing along and will miss taking this little part in TGF... but I will always be hanging around as a participant!!! tee hee!!!!

FFF Challenge :: Classic Patterns

Hello!!! It's Friday and so time for a Farm Fresh Friday with The Greeting Farm!! Naomi
has set up a fun Farm Fresh Friday Challenge for everyone!!

This week, we'd like to see you use a classic pattern on your project!  Any classic pattern will do: houndstooth, stripes, polka-dots, herringbone, chevrons, etc.

So Here is my card using Sitting Cute

I had a bit of fun with this... thinking that perhaps Anya might want to redecorate her cushions or her cute couch... well as you can see... first of all she has gone off and redecorated herself .. taking the skirt/ body from Sweet and Toxic... and then she has some samples up there of houndstooth, polka dots and chevrons ... which would you choose???

Look forward to seeing everyones creations!!

Morning!! Hope all are well in blogland and beyond!! Just wanted to share my latest works of art/ heart.. I drew these Doggies for Mad for Markers and they are now available as digis Here - YAY!!

Anyway.. now I best get off the computer and keep clearing out junk here (we are getting photos taken next Tuesday for the apartment to be sold so um.. still a bit to get done)!!!

So I have another Fairy Ria card to share with you today... this time we see WHAT was in that egg... ooh..  a lil baby dragon... how cute!! lol... Here is Ria with her little friend... you will be able to purchase these images at Mad for Markers tomorrow!!

you can also see some more peaks at this image over on the Mad for Markers blog... and there you will also see Emma's colouring of FairyRia sitting down... I loved how she gave Ria more eyelashes.. and so I did the same on the above image (using a 0.05mm multiliner)
