I'm LATE... I'm LATE!!

I feel very much so like the white rabbit these days... running late LOTS!! I said last Monday I would be posting the very next day well.. the card was made.. the picture was taken BUT the blog did not get written! Life's a little crazy but I guess that's just the season I'm in at the moment! A cRazY Season! :)

anyway enough babbling... I'm here to share my second card I made with the lovely Krista's delightful image "Starla" SHE is coloured in LOTS of different colours..

I don't usually like using soo many colours on the one image lol... but She was shouting out for colour and it fits in with the papers too!! I LOVE colouring her hair and this time I've tried to get a better pic to show you the sparkles from the Spica I  used!!!

I heart SPARKLES

I do love anything sparkly and so when I saw Krista's image Starla I was totally inspired to purchase and colour that sparkly chick ASAP!! :D

Here's my first attempt...

My favourite colours too!! hehe!!! The 2nd one I did went OUTSIDE my comfy zone... but will  share that one tomorrow! :D I used SPICAS on this but I didn't get that photo to show the sparkle too well... need to stop using my iphone and charge the REAL camera up!

Isn't she cute standing there with the "Mo" I find it hilarious that moustaches are "IN" at the moment... but it's also because this little aussie is not that into halloween.. it's not BIG here like over the seas hehe!!

You saw my Pinwheel girl up close at the beginning of the hop.. well here she is on a card... I had to make some pinwheels... and I went a bit overboard with them so there are three here and some more on my desk ... I LOVE my new Silhouette which had the template for them in the Studio software :)

I Smashed a Little Fairy today!!

Lol... funny title right?? Well... I found this little fairy skulking around the garden today and so I decided to Smash her! tee hee... no actually... I was colouring up Krista's Gorgeous "Got Washi" girl and I had a sudden urge to sketch up a fairy who had been "caught" and stuck into a Smash book lol.. so here she is.... Afterwards I realised it's a bit reminiscent of that squashed Fairy book.. I must go look that up I think! (edited - The book I was thinking of was called Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy book)

It's basically a fun Smash/ journal page on Washi tape  :)

I thought I might do a giveaway and so if you email me I will send you your own Got Washi'ed Fairy image to colour and Smash.... I have taken off the spots so you can decorate the tape as your favourite Washi design :)

 

Colouring and extra doodling with Multiliners.

Good morning!! There is a new challenge NOW live on the Mad for Markers Challenge blog and we want you to use Multiliners... NOW I sometimes love adding a bit extra to a card or picture and I usually do this with a multiliner.. on this piccy I've doodled in some butterflies and trails as well as outlining the flowers!

I also LOVE the different filters etc on the Camera+ app on my phone.. and so the colours here are a bit warped and there is added texture/ grit around the edges that is not there IFL.. :)

Anything But a Card Challenge #3

Good afternoon!! There is a NEW challenge LIVE for Anything but a Card (I'm still a bit out on the time zone - oopsie... best get that in order ASAP!!)

Anyway Here is my project... I have created a journal COVER for my special Copic Colour journal.... which I made SPECIALLY for Kristy (THE ODD GIRL) 's Blog party* in October! Actually I made a JOURNAL... but you can't see the rest of it until the 7 Oct lol!

For this cover I used my Copic WIDE markers on the cover (Antique White matboard) ...  I also coloured in the M4M logo which was designed by Kristy... yes in case you didn't know I LOVE her art tee hee!! and stuck it on the front .. used some Washi Tape for a border AND cut out my name in Vinyl with my new toy (Silhouette Cameo)
