Another Awesome sketch by Jess at the Greeting Farm
I used dressy Ebony (digi image) ... I'm still not so sure about this card - I think it might just need a sentiment (I've been leaving them off until I decide WHO and WHAT to use these cards for)! Oooh - that means only 3 sketches left :( but yay for the new release on the 1st Jan!!!
Recipe:
DCWV textured, patterned card, + misc. papers
stamp: Dressy Ebony digi coloured with Copics,
Kaisercraft blooms, pink rhinestone brad, pink rhinestones

TWO awesome sketches from Jessica!!!
and here are the two cards I created....

Paper = basic grey, coloured with Copics and I added glossy accents to the glass.... Here's a closer look, below.
2. For day eight's sketch I have used the Me Time Anya set... with Anya in the robe and the smaller stamps that come with the set... I had a lot of fun with this one... the Paper is Basic Grey again - Lemonade range.

Amy's delightful fairy in a blog candy...
Check this out... the amazingly talented Amy from A Thousand sheets of paper is having a blog candy to celebrate the release of her delightful Chanter Heartsong fairy (who will be available from the 4th at All that Scraps) ... Here's the pic from Amy's blog of what you could win....
The third day after Christmas.....
Here are some of the cards I made following the Greeting Farm's 12 sketches.....
days 2-5......
For day 2 - I have used the Delightful Princess Ava stamp...
coloured in with copic markers and the main DP is from my fairytale paper pack!
For day 3's sketch I have used Anya in the bath from the Me Time stamp set!
Doesn't that bath look lovely! I tried to keep this fairly simple so as to keep the images the focus!
For Day 4 - I have used Mommy Anya... I think this stamp is just so cute!!
I matched her clothes to the DP I wanted to use... from my DCWV sticker paper pack!
coloured again with Copics.
and day 5....Dressy Odette (aka. Esme) is the focus... more of the DCWV sticker paper and some lovely blooms to finish it off!
Thanks for looking.... I'm almost caught up as I'm halfway through day 7 now...whew :D
hope you are all doing well and please do leave me a comment if you're passing through!

On the 6th day of Sketches.....
This is the card I made for the Greeting Farm's 6th sketch .... I'll come back and show you the missing ones later on :D this one is a Farm Fresh Friday sketch too! Here is the sketch:
and here is my card:
I have used lots of Christmas presents for this card.... oh what a lucky girl I am.... I received the lovely DCWV sticker paper (a whole pad full of 6X6"), the white blooms AND the Lolli Anya stamp. I've also added a spotty Basic Grey paper and another PP that came from an assorted paper pack I got from Bizzy Bec's during the year... so not sure what type it is!
Anya is coloured in with Copics.
I received quite a few Greeting Farm stamps - whoo hoo!!
So I've been busy stamping and colouring tonight! So stay tuned for more and more TGF images on my upcoming posts! I need to get some darker ink though.... mm... shopping time!!!
Hope you all had a great Christmas and have recovered from all the feasting :D not long now and it will be a new year... I am looking forward to a NEW year myself! What about you?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS
Isaiah 9: 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
(ESV)
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!!!
Let's remember the real reason for Christmas and give thanks
for the birth of a great King and Saviour... Jesus Christ!! YAY!! :D
I hope that you have a great time with family and friends celebrating this year!!

Twas the night before Christmas....
Perfect time to post this little remake of the night before Christmas for crafters poem that has been doing the rounds :D
Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace?
Or a Cricut, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him,
"Hi Santa, " I said
"You know....good little girls
should be in their beds."
"I know I should Santa,
and now I've got caught.
But I was just so excited
To see what you brought."
"Well, let's take a look
in this room where you work.
He shook his head quickly,
And left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim
as he put it in gear.
"You've got enough crap,
I'll see you next year!"
Sorry I have not been about... still not feeling 100% ... hope to be about more next week/ next year!
Have a Great day tomorrow - have scheduled a little Christmas message for tomorrow - I'll be at church and then in-laws place!! xxx

Pop over to Lala land crafts for their blog hop....
Joyce blings it on with a K.I.S.S
I am entering this card in three challenges today....
they are:
1. The Greeting Farm's - Farm Fresh Friday -
K.I.S.S. technique: KEEP IT SIMPLY SHAPED.
2. Digital Tuesday's "Make a BIRTHDAY something"
3. Anyone for Anya's "Bling it on"
I used a preprinted card base for this card.... I have bought a box of these from DCWV so that I can make a pile of cards to give to friends and family! This one will be in the pile!
I used Joyce - a digi image I purchased from The Greeting Farm (oh yes, you've probably realised that they are my favourite stamp company right now .... the images are just sooo lovely to colour!) She is coloured with Copics (what else? lol)!
I added - some red rhinestone bling and an extra spot of bling on the bloom...
- and a handwritten "happy birthday" sentiment!!
Thanks for stopping by... Pretty busy time right now isn't it - I need to pop up to the post office, wrap some presents, buy some more presents, do some washing, clean up the unit so that the air conditioner installers can get around tomorrow (yay - air con coming in our bedroom!!), wash up, make tons of cards, visit my bloggy friends, and.... I'm not sure what else right now!

Club Anya Holiday blog Hop!
Whoo.... the day is here for
the Club Anya Holiday Blog Hop!!!
My Math is pretty bad... but luckily I found a "timezone converter online and I'm pretty sure this post is scheduled for 14/12 @ 7pm CST, aka. 15/12/ @ 12.pm here in Sydney, AUS.
You can find a list of all the blog hop participants at Club Anya!!
AND .... there is live chatting NOW at the PCP page.
This is the list of categories taken (and summarised) from the Club Anya blog
- create one or more card or project = HOLIDAY THEMED +ANYA OR IAN stamps...
HOLIDAY HAPPINESS AWARD - the favorite overall project.
WHO you callin' a HO HO HO award - BEST use of Santa or Mrs. Claus
ALL WRAPPED UP award - best display of altering a 3D item using Anya +/or Ian
CANDY CANE CROWN - the best use of Holiday sweets on a card or project
Now I think that between my two projects I have fulfilled the different requirements.
My first project is NOT your traditional Christmas card.....
I am in Australia where it is SUMMER time and so no White Christmas :(
This card is inspired by Colin Buchanan's "Aussie jingle bells"
(I have included some of his lyrics on my card)
I whipped up a Rusty holden ute for the front of the card
I used Acetate for the windows and so I am also
able to enter this card in the Anya Ink challenge!!
then inside... (click on the pic to read the words)
I've altered Anya to be a bit Mrs Clause'ish ... with the Santa hat
instead of her usual sunnies. Of course as it's so hot here we would
not want her sweltering in wintery clothes so Shine Anya was a perfect choice!
For my second project I altered a Corinthian wafer container and decorated it with Anyas + gingerbread men with the faces of Anya and Ian (from the Rock the Farm stamp set)....
Click on any of the pictures for a CLOSER view!!
Next stop is Sheng....
Pop on back to Club Anya for all details of the blog hop including the list of all the customer blogs and gorgeous
DT previews!! Thanks for coming by ... please leave a note to let me know you were here!

I am finally getting to enter the Copics Colour Challenge again!! I do write down the colours every week... sometimes I get an image coloured even but it's been a while since I got a card made.... The colours this week are:
and here is my card....
I used other Colours to blend in! Did not have BV23 but went as close as possible .. now where did I put the paper with my colours on it?!?! Where did I put my brain?!?!
(edited: colours used: R59, R 37, R17, YG63, YG91, BV13, BV04, BV00, E50,E51, E53, E00, R00 + some browns I did not write down).
I have used Ebony - a digi image from the Greeting Farm! Isn't she sweet! she had blonde hair but I accidentally got a bit of ink on her hair and so I changed her to a brunette in an attempt to cover it up!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are all having a good weekend! We have Carols at our Church tonight which should be great!! Can't wait! and My Mum is down for the weekend too! Will get back into the swing of creating and blogging next week!
