Happy New Year!!

Just popping in to wish you all a Happy New Year... it will be 2011 here in just 40 minutes... Personally I'm hoping for a better year lol! 2010 has been hard but still lots to be thankful for.. I will pop back tomorrow (instead of tonight - too tired) for a little summary of 2010 and a preview to 2011!!

Just for Fun and to find some Mojo:: Mojo Monday

Well.. I have been feeling very Mojoless .. and so I decided to check out Mojo Monday.. hoping that might help :D There are two fun sketches this week circular or square... I chose the square one. I also used a image of Beanie Anya which a friend stamped for me :) I think I might have to get her though! Here is my card....

The sentiment stamp I used is from Inky Impressions! Sweet isn't it!! :D

Oh and I got some new Copic colours for Christmas.. that's right I still don't have them all .. YET!! the colours I used are: C10, E000, E01, E11, R01, V91, 93, 95, 99, RV91, 93, B91, 93, 95, N2, 3, 4, 6,7,8,9,10 ... loving the N markers!!

We have a wedding to go to this afternoon! Pretty exciting!! :D

CA&F :: A Very Merry Saturday Sketch

Today I am sharing with you a card made for the current Club Anya and Friends Saturday sketch ... and I just HAD to use the beautiful Anya image Marie gave us all for Christmas :D Here she is... Inky Impressions...

I just had to make and show you a card using this gorgeous new Inky Impressions stamp of Stampalicious Lili isn't she the sweetest!! These new Inky stamps are beautiful, so deeply etched they make a lovely clear impression!!

also I made this card to remind you there are still a few days left to enter the current Inky Challenge... which is black and white + one other colour ... I've gone the black, white and pink again!! :D
The paper is from My Favourite Things as well as some Bazzil CS :D I coloured the pearls in with a C10 Copic marker!!

Winter Wonderland....

I'm dreaming of a white christmas..... 'cos I am never going to get one here in Sydney .. lol!
But I still used this gorgeous Christmas digi stamp from Spesch for this card.

We had a Christmas party at a friend's house last night... It was a lovely night with wonderfully yummy food and great company! Gin had given it a Winter Wonderland theme and so I thought this image would be a good one to use!! :D My friend Gin has just recently started blogging again and with a crafty/ card making etc blog.. if you have not yet seen her blog please pop on over and say HI :D

countdown to Christmas

Oh wow!! I have been a bit slow here with my blogging... sorry.. Just have not had time to sit and blog... life is a little crazy! And have had LOTS of Christmas cards to get made... next year I am starting EARLIER!!!

Here's a couple I have made ... have been using up all my pre-coloured images... and trying to keep the cards pretty simple so that they are easier to make ... and I'm kinda liking CAS right now!!

the first card is with a Magnolia image that I got from Bernadette (if you read this... THANKS so much .. she was fun to colour!!)



and the second is using the Greeting Farm's Ian and Miss Anya Lounge .. don't they go well together!! Gone for a long card this time...

Inky Impressions Challenge :: Black and White + ??

I have made two cards this week as I didn't think my stamps would arrive in time so I used Rachel's gingerbread digi again.. and then my stamps did arrive so I have used my gorgeous new stamp of Sammy making snow angels :D

For my first card (below) I have used Rachel and gone with black + White + Pink....
I am also entering this card into the Digital Tuesday Challenge where they want a Sparkling Christmas .. it has not come up too well in my photo but the baubles and lights on the tree are glossy and a bit sparkly!

also Stamp Something is having a Digi challenge this week! So I'm also entering Rachel in there!

My second card (below) is the new Sammy making snow angels and I have as you can see used Black and White + Green for this one!
I also used some Inky Dinky dew drops and a Snow Mittens charm ... which are available in the Inky store here!

I am also entering this card into the Cupcake Inspiration challenge which has a gorgeous piccy this week as inspiration... I have been inspired by the snow/ snowflakes!!!

Welcome down the rabbit hole once again my friends. This poem by Lewis Carroll was found in the back of a copy of Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. In researching the history of this poem I found the All Saints, the Lewis Carroll Memorial Window at Daniell Chapel in England. The 3 centre panels contain verses from this Lewis Carroll’s poem. The window was designed by the stained glass artist Geoffrey Webb and depicts a Nativity scene, at which both Carroll and Alice are present. This is a must see for anyone that loves Wonderland.

For our challenge this week let's get into the Christmas spirit. The challenge is to use red, green, + one color. You can still use other colors for hair and skin. Just make the main use of color red, green, + one.

Farm Fresh Friday gets Sentimental!!

Inky Christmas decoration

I've been putting up our tree today... bit later than wanted to... but had no chance till today! :D Anyway I wanted to show you a decoration I made... using an Inky Impressions stamp .. Angelica's heart socks!! Isn't she adorable!!


I stamped her up in Rich Cocoa ink on 352GSM Neenah... and since it's so nice and thick there was no bleed through.. so I cut out the image and then used a Sepia multiliner to draw the "backside" on and then coloured that too - a bit more simply!!
I then slid her inside a clear bauble :D
