Pixie Poster

I worked on this one for a while... I tried to get as many
of the Pixie Chicks from the Charmed Cards and Crafts
onto the one page.. and as many of the backgrounds -
to create a real fairytale scene... so Here it is:

Thanks to the lovely Tracey I found the most delightful drawings....
Princess Elemmiriel has a gallery full of gorgeous drawings on Deviantart.com.
She even has some Lineart drawings which she lets others colour in...

Here is my first attempt at colouring one of her gorgeous girls in.


This drawing of Princess Elemmiriel's is called Mint Tea.. so technically she should be green? But I have more purple Copics and so I made her purple! lol - of course I did!
I think I'll try colouring her in on PSE next :)

Christmas in July

Monday morning ... time for work, nah - let's do a bit of blogging first!

I was able to get a few cards made on the weekend, Here is one of them :)

Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 7

Here is my card for the Magnolia Down Under challenge #7.

This time they have a lovely little sketch for us to follow.
I took a bit of artistic licence and used a smaller rectangle
shape which means the elements are more overlapped
than the original sketch but I think it works :)

I am linking to my card I just posted Here where I have coloured in a dowload... with Copics, black and colourless blender, red and the hair is a BIC marker as I had no suitable hair colour in the Copics.

VIva La France

Whooo!!! I am FINALLY getting to post an entry in the Dottie's World challenge again! yay!
I've been working on a little project with the lovely Pixies but I will show you that another day!

The current Challenge at Dottie's World is in honour of Bastille Day this week... so - I made this card on Bastille day. Louise wrote:

"The 14th of July marks the French public holiday of Bastille Day so to join the French in their celebrations I would like us to make something with a French feel. It could be the image, it could be a french sentiment or it could just make you say Oh La La! It might even be just in the colours of the French flag (red, white and blue), it's up to you! Just have fun! Oh and don't forget to use one of the Charmed downloads!"

So here is my card:



Ingredients:
I used a stamped image of the Eifel tower from my sister and the "Madison Oh la la" image from the Madison and Holly download package available at Charmed Cards and Crafts
Ribbon is from Spotlight and cardstock is from office works, I also used the Swiss dots embossing folder with my cuttlebug!

The Sugar Bowl :: Judy's sketch

I used the Swiss dots embossing folder,
flowers and brads from my stash.

last Tuesday Guy came home from work with some flowers for me... isn't he lovely!
