My dreams TERRIFY me

Hope you have had a great week!  Today I'm sharing with you a card I made with my Lily Rose Fairy digi. I did a  lesson on colouring this image (focusing on shadows) at Copic Club last night  .. and this was the demo ...

I added the butterfly stamp/ sentiment today. It's a Prima stamp and Aussie friends, you can get it from my online shop HERE. I love this sentiment and it rings true at the moment.. this dream of having my own shop and teaching classes is currently terrifying my socks off - so I guess it's big enough then :D  

We have started (thanks for the idea and help GranMargaret) a progressive freebie challenge at the Mad for Markers Digi Creations facebook group HERE if you pop over you can read all about it but for the first month you are able to get this image - Lily Rose for free :D

The dream become reality does mean that I will be BLOGGING a lot more regularly so that I can use the products and show people the results :D And so I'm back to listing colours ....

Shows over ... I'm back

Good morning!! Last week I was preoccupied with a Papercrafts Show... I booked Mad for Markers in (pretty last minute) to have a stand and so I was rushing to get everything done.. and then of course I was at the show... and then I came home and crashed! But I'm feeling almost human again now lol and so I'm FINALLY blogging again...

Yesterday I  finished off an Art journal page I started a couple of months ago.... It was just waiting for inspiration which came via the Gelatos I purchased from All About Scrapbooks. Loving them so far!!

Ok so to the Art Journal... this is the FIRST page in a book I've altered to a journal... it's an old Kids Dictionary that I  picked up at the Stash and Treasure market ... I'm going to have a series of Fairy journal pages in it... yeah.. I still love Fairies... little kid in an adults shell here (in case you didn't know) tee hee! This page uses Love Fairy Venetia... I printed her very pale to do the no lines effect... once covered with gel glue she really popped off the page (bit harder to tell from the photo). In other exciting craft news I  received my new Silhouette cameo BLADE yesterday so I can cut again lol!

Here's  a picture of my Tree display from the show last weekend! The upside of the time it took to create is that all those leaves have coloured images on them which I can now turn into cards... which is particularly great for a QUICK card! so I should have some more creations to blog soon!!!

I've made a couple more cards for the challenges going on over at the Some Odd Girl forum this weekend!! I'm so pleased Kristy started the group there and they've been giving challenges as it's helped get my MOJO happening again! lol!!

Also... I bought some papers and flowers from Jane who is starting an online store ... Forever Markers and Craft Supplies... she has a facebook group here SO I had to try them out... I don't use a lot of flowers as they just don't seem to work for me like they do for others...

AND then the second card uses Nutsy Kaylee .... I have given her the Geeky Glasses from the Preppy Pups set!! I had to paperpiece her a bit so that the hair came back on top of the glasses... but I was pretty pleased with the result... look out I have the geeky glasses bug!! :D

Papertake Weekly Challenge : Sketch7

Funky Fairy challenge :: Stitching

This is my first attempt at a Funky Fairy Challenge (Karen wanted to see "stitching" on the cards). check out their blog - there are some really great creations there from their design team!!

I used some of their free downloads for the paper and I used one of my doodles for the image. My "stitching" is faux stitching as I am much more handy with the pen than my sewing machine (and my bobbin ran out)!

Tracy's Birthday

Tracy is celebrating her upcoming birthday (14th June) with some blog candy!
